The Covey sisters have been taking over our bookshelves since 2014 with the release of the first book in Jenny Han’s beloved series, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. When the screen adaptation premiered in 2018, the Lara Jean, Margot, and Kitty were given a new life, letting their big personalities burst off the page.
Over the course of the sequels of both the novels and films, we watched Lara Jean grow from a hopeless romantic with her nose buried in a book to someone living out the love stories she’d only dreamed of and making difficult decisions about her future. We also watched Kitty grow from the meddling and sassy little sister to a young woman taking charge of her own journey in the spinoff Netflix show, XO Kitty, which follows her to a boarding school in South Korea, chasing love and the secrets of her family’s past.
With a real path of her own, Kitty became more than a supporting character–she became someone people saw herself in, just as people saw themselves in Lara Jean. So now it’s time to find out which one of the Covey sisters you’re more like: bookish and pensive Lara Jean, or impulsive and bold Kitty?
Which Covey Sister Are You: Lara Jean or Kitty?
